rish Red Cross youth have proudly launched 'The Buddy Box' as part of their hugesly successful anti bullying campaign. Huge Congratulations to Ballinora/Ballincollig member Eileen, Amy, and Gemma for their hard work and dedication as founding members of the ant bullying sub group.

The Buddy box is a result of much time and effort and the contributions of our young people is very admirable. The Buddy box has helpful cards on recognising signs of bullying, a professional anti bullying charter, booklet of activities and of course the well known Buddy Bear, all of which are a fantastic asset to our young people and their leaders. This wonderful resource is a credit to all the volunteers involved in bringing it to fruition,Well done to members on promoting a very important message.

Annual General Meeting

On the 18th of January, Ballinora/Ballincollig branch of the Irish Red Cross held our AGM in Ballinora Scout Den.

This AGM was very well supported by both branch members, members of the public and distinguished guests. All support greatly appreciated.

The Secretary, Chairperson and Treasurer reports were a credit to our branch and the work done on a weekly basis. With great numbers of Volunteer hours highlighted, it is very evident that the work being done within our Branch is of a very high standard. Well done to all involved.

Some of our members were presented with certificates for various courses completed in the past 12 months. Well done to all recipients.
